Frequently Asked Questions
What Is An Herb?
Medicinally, an herb is any plant or plant part used for its therapeutic value. Many of the world’s herbal traditions also include mineral and animal substances as “herbal medicines”.
What Is Herbal Medicine?
Herbal medicine is the art and science of using herbs for promoting health and preventing and treating illness. It has persisted as the world’s primary form of medicine since the begining of time, with a written history more than 5,000 years old. While the use of herbs in America has been overshadowed by dependence on modern medications the last 100 years, 75% of the world’s population still relies primarily upon traditional healing practices, most of which is herbal medicine.
How Long Does It Take For Herbs To Be Effective?
The success of herbal treatment always depends upon a variety of factors including how long the condition existed, the severity of the condition and how diligently treatment plans are followed. While it may take many months for Herbal Baby™ to work, most of our Customers have found success in less than three months. Please explore our Testimonials for more information.
How Are Herbs Different From Pharmaceuticals?
Most pharmaceutical drugs are single chemical entities that are highly refined and purified and are often synthesized. In 1987, about 85% of modern drugs were originally derived from plants. Currently, only about 15% of drugs are derived from plants. In contrast, herbal remedies are prepared from living or dried plants and contain hundreds to thousands of interrelated compounds. Science is beginning to demonstrate that the safety and effectiveness of herbs are often related to the synergy of its many constituents.
How Safe Are Herbs?
It depends on the herb. Most herbs sold as dietary supplements are very safe. When used appropriately, the majority of herbs used by practitioners have no adverse side effects. A review of the traditional and scientific literature worldwide demonstrates that serious side effects or toxic reactions associated with herbal medicines in any form are rare. According to Norman R. Farnsworth, PhD., Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy at University of Illinois at Chicago:
“Based on published reports, side effects or toxic reactions associated with herbal medicines in any form are rare. In fact, of all classes of substances reported to cause toxicities of sufficient magnitude to be reported in the United States, plants are the least problematic.”
Where Can I Find Safety Information?
While this is not an exhaustive list, it is a good start. If you have questions related to your specific situation, consult a medical professional prior to taking any herbal product. Please consult our disclaimer as well.

What if I’m Uncomfortable With Herbs?
Many of the women in the sample group did not know anything about herbs at the outset. However, they felt that Herbal Baby was a ray of hope for them and researched herbs on their own. Many customers found comfort in the natural aspect of this product, enough so to outweigh the concern or uncertainty about the herbs themselves.
What Does Herbal Baby Do?
The five herbs used in this herbal blend were selected for their particular qualities in aiding with the following issues: boosting fertility, general support to the reproductive organs, circulation, stimulation of the body’s own hormones that are necessary for conception, menstrual regulation, and much more.
What Type Of Fertility Issues Did The Women In The Study Have?
Women with the following issues were included in the study: no menstrual cycle, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), single and multiple miscarriages, inability to get pregnant, low progesterone, and tipped uterus. While the sample group did not have anyone with endometriosis, the Herbal Baby Resource Guide has suggestions for dealing with endometriosis.
Can I Use Herbal Baby Even if I Have Not Experienced Infertility?
While women with no known history of fertility problems were not considered in the sample group, the same principles apply: Each ingredient in the Herbal Baby tincture is meant to improve the chances of conception. We strongly believe any woman trying to conceive would benefit from our product.
Can I Take Herbal Baby During Menstrual Cycle?
Yes you can. None of the herbs in Herbal Baby are contraindicated during the menstrual cycle.
Can I Continue to Take Herbal Baby Once Pregnant?
In our experience, yes you can. Some of the women in the sample group continued successfully with Herbal Baby into the pregnancy. Those who had previously experienced miscarriage and those with low progesterone were more likely to continue taking Herbal Baby than those who did not. Make sure to consult with your OBGYN once pregnant as some women also took progesterone supplements as prescribed by their Doctor.
Must I Do Everything In the Herbal Baby Resource Guide?
No, you may not need the Resource Guide at all. It is available to those who may need help with specific fertility issues and/or for general issues like detoxifying the body in preparation for pregnancy. You may like to enhance your options with one, two or any combination of items in the Resource Guide. It is all up to you; use your common sense. The information has been gathered by me for the benefit of other women and is available to those who purchase Herbal Baby.
Can Herbal Baby Help Me If I Have Low Hormones?
I can use a story from someone in the sample group as an example to best answer this question. “I normally had progesterone ranging from 6-11 near the end of a normal menstrual cycle. When pregnant, the highest progesterone number I was able to produce was 11. My OBGYN told me that 11-14 was on the low range of “acceptable” for sustaining a viable pregnancy. When I first took Herbal Baby I took it for about five weeks (starting mid cycle) until I conceived. I knew exactly when I ovulated and I knew I was pregnant so I went to the OBGYN 10 days after conception and my progesterone was an astounding 29! My HCG level was still 0, so the pregnancy was not confirmed. By day 14 I went for another blood test and my progesterone was 33, HCG was around 100 which indicated a positive pregnancy!”
What is the Herbal Baby Resource Guide?
The Herbal Baby Resource Guide is a companion to the Herbal Baby tincture. It is a twelve-page booklet that offers suggestions for women to help optimize or enhance their overall health and chances of conception. This Guide can be used in conjunction with or separately from Herbal Baby. Specifically, there are suggestions for detoxification products, whole body boosting products, daily supplements, things to do to help enhance the body, and a handful of individual herbs beneficial for specific issues, such as: endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, missing or unusual menstruation, egg enhancing products, stress/anxiety reduction, low libido, low sperm count (for men, obviously), and herbal formulas for miscarriage prevention. The booklet is a compilation of what I feel are the highlights to reproductive health based on my research and experience over the past decade.
